Iron Lion Team Gym Policies

1. Be mindful and respectful

Be mindful and respectful to those around you. Show respect for instructors and teammates. Always listen to your instructor when speaking. Ethics and etiquette are very important to our gym.

2. Be on time

Please come no more than 10 minutes before class or one-on-one sessions. Being late is inconsiderate to our coaches as well as other gym members. If you have a reason for being late please contact coach Charlie in advance. Being late to our classes, including private sessions may result in the termination of your membership.

3. Act with integrity

Always be honest with instructors and teammates. Never steal, never lie, and never cheat our system. Doing so could result in the termination of your membership.

4. Stay humble

Always strive to learn and practice without an ego. Staying humble when you train will help you achieve your goals.

5. Work together as a team

Iron Lion team is a family and we share common goals. Progress is achieved through listening, both to your instructors and your practice partners. We learn and work together every day toward our training and fitness goals. Being a good teammate helps the entire team succeed. Lifting up, encouraging, and pushing each other to get better benefits all of us.

6. Bring your own equipment

You may borrow required equipment on your first day of class if needed. After your first class you are required to bring and care for your own equipment. You must wear workout or gym clothing to class. If you are taking BJJ with Gi you must be dressed appropriately. See our class descriptions (link) to understand what equipment is required for each class. We sell equipment including gloves, wraps, and more at the gym.

7. Practice good hygiene

Practice good personal hygiene (clean body, hands, and feet). Come to class with clean clothes and sanitized training equipment. At the end of each class we require everyone to help clean and put back the equipment. No food allowed inside the gym.
